WHERE WE ARE
Normandy is in the North part of France easily accessed by Cherbourg, Caen and Le Harve ferry ports. Our bed and breakfast farmhouse is on the outskirts of a small village called Meautis and 10 minutes drive away from the nearest town of Carentan. Nestled in the beautiful quiet countryside we are only 20 minutes from Utah and Omaha beaches, which makes us the ideal B&B farmhouse for exploring Historic and beautiful Normandy.

HOW TO GET HERE
Getting to La Mare Palu B&B couldn't be easier.
FERRIES
There are regular ferries from Poole and Portsmouth throughout the year to Cherbourg and Caen. There are also ferries from Portsmouth to Boulogne and Le Harve. We are a short easy drive from both ferry terminals. Go to our links page for direct access to travel websites.
TRAINS
Trains run from London via the Channel Tunnel and regular trains through France on the SNCF
CAR
Travelling from Paris we are on the E46. Turn off for Carentan and head for the D971
PLANE
Our nearest airports are Maupertus near Cherbourg and also Caen airport. There are various carriers internally and from other countries.
